This Hilarious Life

Today I listened to This American Life while I was walking to class. This week's episode is great -- I laughed out loud and teared up a little too. Here's the description from the site:

"Stories of people forced to let go of their firmly held beliefs. When the daughter of a pro-choice activist concludes that abortion is murder, her mother goes to extraordinary lengths to persuade her daughter to switch sides. And after a woman loses her faith, a football coach—whom she's never met—tries to restore it."

That synopsis doesn't mention my favorite act, the last one, called Pants Pants Revelation about a couple falling in love and how a pair of pants affected their relationship.

How's your news?

Trailer for "How's Your News?" Series! from How's Your News? on Vimeo.

I'm totally addicted to this show! I first heard of the How's Your News team on National Public Radio's This American Life. All the journalist know each other from a summer camp where they met for people with disabilities. I just recently found their series on MTV. The first season just ended, but you can catch clips at their official website. If you are having a bad day, this upbeat news show will definitely make you feel better!
